More about the XUV 3XO

Standout Design

The XUV 3XO introduces a bold, athletic silhouette that commands attention. It features a distinctive front fascia with a piano black finish on the grille and LED Headlamps, LED DRLs and LED Fog Lamps. At the rear, the infinity LED tail lamp emphasises the wide and stable stance of the XUV 3XO.

XUV 3XO’s interiors complement its striking exterior with a blend of premiumness and modernity. Its cabin boasts premium Ivory colour interiors with a Soft touch leatherette dashboard that extends to the door trims, and leatherette seat upholstery to elevate the sense of sophistication. Leather accents on the steering wheel, gear knob, and front armrest further enhance the premium feel.

SUV Command Seating

The SUV’s credentials are further enhanced by its longest-in-class bonnet, adding a sense of robustness and forward motion. With a command seating position, eye level at 1398 mm above the ground, the XUV 3XO offers best-in-class forward visibility of 23.7, similar to the XUV 700. Bold wheel arches and large tyres underscore its ruggedness, with the largest tyre outside diameter (OD) in its class, contributing to a formidable stance. The impressive ground clearance, calibrated approach and departure angles, and best-in-class water wading depth amplify the XUV 3XO’s SUVness factor. Complementing these features are the segment-leading R17 Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, which further accentuate its authoritative presence.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Powertrain

The powertrain options for the XUV 3XO remain unchanged, offering two petrol engine choices and one diesel. The base model features a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, delivering 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. For more power, there’s the 1.2-litre ‘mStallion’ T-GDi petrol engine, producing nearly 130 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. This engine enables the XUV 3XO manual to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 4.5 seconds (4.4 seconds for the automatic variant).

On the diesel side, the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine generates 115 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Additionally, the XUV 3XO offers three driving modes: Zip, Zap, and Zoom.

Mahindra XUV 3XO – 360-degree camera

The 360-degree camera has become quite a basic feature in this segment with almost all the competitors having it. This is why we think Mahindra is going to add it to the XUV 3XO. We think Mahindra will be using the same unit as the XUV700 to save on costs. The system works flawlessly on the XUV700 and the same can be expected on the 3XO.

ADAS Level-2

According to reports, the XUV 3XO is going to get the same ADAS setup as the XUV700. This means we could see the camera+ADAS module on the XUV 3XO. Currently, the Sonet and Venue come with ADAS in this segment, but only a camera module. So, the XUV 3XO coming with radar-based ADAS will be a segment-first feature. The XUV300 was already a safe car and the added layer of ADAS would make it even better.
